The Assassination of Chairman Fred Hampton Sr.
At 4:30 AM, 14 plainclothes officers executed a pre-dawn raid on 2337 West Monroe Street. Chairman Hampton, 21, was murdered in his bed.

The Hampton House
804 S. 17th Ave — Fred Hampton Sr.'s childhood home. Historical landmark since April 2022. Now a community center, museum, and garden.

The FBI's Counter Intelligence Program systematically targeted the Black Panther Party. William O'Neal was paid a bonus for providing the apartment floor plan.
