Chairman Fred Streetz Party

The annual Chairman Fred Streetz Party celebrates the birthday of Chairman Fred Hampton Sr. (born August 30, 1948). Organized by the Black Panther Cubs, December 4th Committee, and the Coalition to Save Hampton House, the celebration begins at noon at 2337 W. Monroe Street — the site of the December 4th raid — and continues with community outreach, food, vendors, and evening performances throughout Chicago and Maywood.

This event has been running annually for over a decade, bringing together community members, activists, and supporters to honor the legacy of Chairman Hampton and recommit to the work of liberation.
